The Discreet Way to Find Out If the Feeling Is Mutual
Is wadaCrush a Dating app?
Ever liked someone you already know and wondered, “What if they like me too?”
That’s exactly where wadaCrush comes in.
wadaCrush is a discreet crush and compatibility app built for people who already have someone in mind. Instead of endlessly swiping through strangers, it helps you privately explore whether the feeling with someone already in your real-life or social network could be mutual.
In simple terms: You already know who you like. wadaCrush gives you a more discreet way to find out if the feeling might go both ways.
So, is wadaCrush a dating app?
wadaCrush is a discreet mutual-crush app, not a traditional swipe-based dating app. It helps people explore romantic interest, but it starts from a very different place than most traditional dating apps.
Most dating apps ask: “Who should I meet?”
wadaCrush asks: “What if the person I already like likes me too?”
Rather than putting you into an endless deck of strangers, wadaCrush is designed around real-life connections, discreet attraction and mutual discovery.
Send a discreet Crush with a Vibe
On wadaCrush, a discreet Crush message is called a Vibe.
If there’s someone you already know and like, you can send them a pre-composed Vibe using supported contact information such as their phone number, email address, or supported social identity.
Your identity is not revealed simply because you sent a Vibe. wadaCrush is designed to keep that interest discreet unless the connection becomes mutual.
It works best with people you already know
wadaCrush isn’t designed for anonymously reaching out to random strangers.
We recommend sending Vibes only to people who are 18 years or older and genuinely know you in real life.
That could be a friend, coworker, classmate, acquaintance, someone from your community, or another person already within your real-world social circle.
Discover your Compatibility Score
Attraction may start the spark. Compatibility makes things a little more interesting.
wadaCrush provides a Compatibility Score that considers multiple factors, including preferences provided by users.
The score also considers compatibility combinations inspired by Roman zodiac signs and ancient Indian zodiac traditions, along with other preference-based factors.
Compatibility Scores are intended as a fun discovery feature and are not a prediction or guarantee of relationship success.
Don’t have one specific Crush? Meet Showcase
Showcase is an optional way to discover compatible people through your extended wadaCrush network.
A Showcase suggestion may display:
- Age
- Gender
- Compatibility Score
What it doesn’t reveal is just as important.
Showcase does not display your name, phone number, email address, Snapchat ID, or profile image.
Showcase is completely optional and can be turned off whenever you prefer not to appear in suggestions.
Why does wadaCrush ask for your contacts?
Because wadaCrush is built around people you already know, your existing network can help make your experience more relevant.
If you choose to provide contact access, wadaCrush securely uses your phone and email contacts to help recognize existing connections.
Uploading someone from your contact book does not automatically create a wadaCrush profile for that person.
Uploaded contacts are not used for marketing and are not shared with third parties.
Add all the identities that belong to you
Different people may know you through different contact details. A friend might have your personal email, while someone else may only have your secondary phone number.
Your wadaCrush account can include supported identities such as:
- Primary phone number
- Primary email address
- Secondary phone number
- Secondary email address
Adding your supported identities helps bring Crush activity sent to those different contact details back to one wadaCrush profile.
Fun fact: one password works across your linked login IDs
Once your primary and alias identities are linked to your account, you can use the same wadaCrush password to log in using any of those supported login IDs.
Connect your Snapchat account
Not every real-life connection is stored in your phone contacts.
You may know someone through Snapchat without knowing their current phone number or email address. Connecting Snapchat gives wadaCrush another supported identity associated with you and can help with connections involving people you already know there.
What does the Purple Tick mean?
The Purple Tick shows that a wadaCrush user has completed liveness verification.
During verification, you may be asked to capture a live selfie to confirm that a real person is present.
Your verification selfie is never shown to other users. They see the Purple Tick — not the photo used for verification.
Refer friends and grow your network
You can invite real-life friends to wadaCrush.
When a referred friend joins and you both choose to stay connected, your extended network can grow and create more opportunities for relevant Showcase suggestions.
Our tip: Refer your friends. Send Vibes to your Crushes.
Not ready for an account? #JoinTheQueue
Not everyone wants to create another account right away.
With #JoinTheQueue, someone can provide supported contact information and consent to receive a notification if a discreet Crush is sent to that identity.
Joining the Queue does not create a full wadaCrush profile, and participants can opt out.
The idea behind wadaCrush is simple
Sometimes the hardest part of having a Crush isn’t liking them.
It’s wondering whether they feel the same way.
No endless stranger swiping. No unnecessary exposure. Just a discreet way to find out if the vibe might be mutual.
