How Does Showcase Work?
Showcase works through your referral network. Here's how you can unlock new profiles in three simple steps.
1. Invite Your Friends
Share your unique wadaCrush referral code with your friends. When they join using your code, they become part of your referral network.
2. Your Friends Invite Their Friends
Your friends can build their own referral networks by inviting their friends to wadaCrush using their own referral codes.
3. Discover Friends of Friends
As your friends' friends join wadaCrush using their referral codes, their masked profiles appear in your Showcase. You can explore these profiles and send discreet crushes directly from Showcase.
Good to know: You won't be notified whether a friend has accepted your invitation. However, friends who join wadaCrush can view their own referrals within the app.
Let's Look at an Example
You invite Alex to wadaCrush using your referral code. Alex joins and then invites their friend Sam using Alex's own referral code.
When Sam joins, Sam's masked profile becomes visible in your Showcase.
You can now explore Sam's profile and decide whether to send a discreet crush based on visible details such as Compatibility Score, About Me, and Crush Score. Sam's name, phone number, email address, and profile photo remain hidden.
You → Alex → Sam
You invite Alex. Alex invites Sam. You discover Sam in Showcase!
When Do New Profiles Appear?
Showcase updates almost in real time. Once your referred friends successfully invite others who join wadaCrush, their masked profiles should appear in your Showcase shortly afterward.
Remember, simply sending an invitation isn't enough. Your friends and their friends must actually join wadaCrush using the respective referral codes.
Is Showcase Private?
Absolutely! Showcase is designed around discreet discovery, staying true to what wadaCrush is all about.
You can explore masked public profiles from your referral network and discover details such as Compatibility Score, About Me, and Crush Score. However, names, profile photos, and personal contact information remain hidden.
You don't need someone's phone number or email address to send them a discreet crush through Showcase.
Why Is My Showcase Empty?
If you don't see any profiles yet, don't worry! Your referral network may still be growing.
Make sure:
- You've invited friends using your referral code.
- Your friends have joined wadaCrush using your referral code.
- Your friends have invited their own friends using their referral codes.
- Those friends have also joined wadaCrush using the respective referral codes.
Once these connections are established, eligible masked profiles should start appearing in Showcase almost in real time.
